Online Booking for Hair Salons — Step-by-Step Setup in 30 Minutes
No tech skills required. This guide walks you from creating your account to having a live booking page linked in your Instagram bio — in under half an hour.
Step 1 — Create your account (5 minutes)
Go to xenla.app/register and choose a plan. Enter your salon name — this becomes your booking URL (e.g. xenla.app/glow-salon). You'll use this everywhere.
Step 2 — Add your services (10 minutes)
Go to Admin → Services → + New. For each service add: name, duration, price, and color (shows in the calendar). Example setup for a hair salon:
Step 3 — Set a deposit for long services (3 minutes)
For anything 2 hours or longer, require a deposit at booking. Edit the service → enable deposit → set amount (typically 20–30% of service price). This alone will cut your no-show rate significantly.
Step 4 — Add your staff (3 minutes)
Admin → Staff → + New. Add each stylist with their name and working hours. Clients can then choose who they want to book with — or you can hide staff selection if you prefer.
Step 5 — Link to Instagram (2 minutes)
Copy your booking link (xenla.app/your-salon-name). Go to Instagram → Edit profile → Add a link. Paste it. Add "Book here 👇" to your bio. That's it — you're live.
