Xenla is now in your pocket — a staff app and a guest app
We built two separate native apps: one for business owners and their team, one for their clients. Both are live on Google Play today, and we're breaking down exactly what each one does — including what the browser version simply can't.
The Xenla Staff app and the Xenla Guest app are both live on Google Play right now, free, and sign in with your existing Xenla account. iOS (App Store) versions are in development and arriving soon — in the meantime, both are fully usable today on Android.
Why build a native app when the browser version already works?
The Xenla admin panel and booking page have always run fully in the browser — and worked fine on mobile. What a browser tab can never give you, though, is a background push notification, a home-screen icon, long-press quick actions, or a biometric lock protecting client data on a tablet shared at the front desk. That's what the native app is for — not a second product, just the same Xenla plus the handful of things only an installed app can do.
The Xenla Staff app — for owners and their team
Push alerts for everything that matters
New booking, cancellation, or reschedule — you get a push notification the moment it happens, no need to keep the admin panel open all day. On Android, your morning summary also lands as a push, and a small "cha-ching" chime marks a fresh booking coming in.
Quick actions and a "Today" widget
Long-press the app icon to jump straight into a new booking or today's schedule. On Android, a home-screen widget and a quick-settings tile show your booking count for the day without even opening the app.
Biometric app lock
If a shared phone or tablet runs the staff app at the front desk, lock it behind Face ID or a fingerprint — client and revenue data stays protected even if someone picks up an unlocked device.
Native Google sign-in, team chat, multi-region
Sign-in runs through your device's own system browser, not an embedded webview — exactly as secure as logging in on the web. Team chat, multiple locations, and both the US and Hungary regions are handled natively.
The Xenla Guest app — for your clients
Not every client wants to remember where they booked — a lot of people just look for the app on their home screen. The Xenla Guest app packages the same booking experience you already know into an installable app with push and faster access, available to the clients of any business running on Xenla.
Every booking, in one place
No more digging through your inbox for the confirmation email — the Xenla Guest app sits on your home screen, one tap away from your next appointment, your booking history, and your remaining class pass balance.
Push reminders, not a text-message pile
Appointment reminders, a cancellation, or a spot opening up on a waitlist all arrive as push notifications — faster than email and never buried in a stack of promotional texts.
Class passes in Apple/Google Wallet
Wherever a business sells a punch card or class pack, add it to your phone's Wallet app with one tap — your remaining sessions show right there, no need to open the app at all.
One account, three languages
The guest app runs in English, Spanish, and Hungarian, and serves both regions we operate in — if a business shows up in both markets, its clients use the exact same app.
What about iPhone?
iOS versions of both apps are in development and already running in internal testing — the last step before the App Store submission is activating an Apple Developer account, which is closing out within days. Once it's live, we'll announce it here on the blog and in the app footer. Until then, both apps are fully usable on Android phones and tablets today.
Neither app is a separate subscription — both connect to your existing Xenla account (or, as a guest, to your bookings), download free, and show the exact same data as the browser version.
